Responsive Air Zoom Cushioning

A heel Air Zoom unit delivers a springy, supported feel throughout your match. Added midsole foam between the plastic and rubber, absent from the Vapor 11, helps keep you light on your feet.

Clay-Court Traction

Nike Claybreaker technology helps enhance traction and reduce clay build-up. Extra forefoot and midfoot grip works with a wide traction pattern to support controlled slides. Developed using traction maps, pressure maps, and analysis of clay build-up areas, the design was tested on European red-clay courts in cold, warm, wet, and dry conditions.

Lightweight Stability

The herringbone outsole uses a new rubber compound that is lighter than those used in previous Vapors. A firm midfoot plastic piece supports stability and smooth side-to-side transitions, while allowing rubber to be removed from the midfoot to reduce overall weight.

A firm heel-to-toe foot frame wraps around the supportive midfoot plate for a secure feel, helping you transfer power through aggressive slides, cuts, and pivots.

Secure, Lightweight Upper

The engineered mesh upper reduces weight while maintaining durability in high-wear areas around the toe. A full midfoot fit band lets you tighten the laces for an enhanced fit during fast cuts.
